TAC Grads Doing Stuff
A few items I’ve been saving:
Tutor David Quackenbush, “the father of 10 fully developed embryos,” penned an op-ed about stem cells. He asks:
Are we doing enough justice to the moral value of first principles as machetes?
***
Norris Archer Harrington (see nordog.com) has an excellent op-ed explaining liberal education in the Dallas Morning News:
If you buy into the lie that the only kind of education that matters is that which helps you make money, you will be a slave to ignorance and to the brilliant but amoral sorts who would manipulate your pretensions to practicality.
***
Dr. Michael M. Waldstein is set to publish the definitive version of The Theology of the Body: A New Translation Based on the John Paul II Archives, with a foreword by Cardinal Schonborn and a preface by Christopher West. Read this Catholic Online article to discover why this new version of JPII’s magnum opus will be “definitive.”
I read this great book about how conventional education today makes you into a great little consumer and thats about it. Thanks for the link to Nordog’s article.

Oh, and I stopped by for another visit here this morning, and noticed the title of that post, and thought I would mention that we grads are all doing SOMETHING, just whether it gets mentioned on your blog or not is the question.
Like, right now I am typing on the computer, drinking some tea, trying to keep my youngest from breaking computer equipment. But is that worthy of mention — no, not really.
I just thought I would try to liven up your blog with this comment. Did it work?

Hah. This is true. I didn’t mean for the title to imply that THESE graduates are doing stuff as opposed to others who are NOT doing stuff.
Keep blogging. Its great to read blogs now rather than post on mine. Someday when school ends…
Hard to liven up a hybernating blog…

Speaking of TAC: I understand you TAC grads have definite opinions about the actuality of infinity.
There’s a discussion brewing on my blog:

Does this mean blogging again? Cause that would be awesome.
